Last Call: 626Sampler’s Final Edition in Las Vegas
Concluding an eventful first season, the 626Sampler made it to Sin City for the final 626 Night Markets of the year - Las Vegas attendees were able to get travel-friendly bites from Baozza, Takoyaki Tanota, HGG Tanghulu, and Ube Bread Box.
The project’s last iteration was co-coordinated by Bernadette Velasco and Sahrang Han.
Baozza
The first and only returning vendor to the program this year was Baozza, who served up big pizza flavors that guests know and love in palm-sized bao packages. Guests had the option to choose steamed or fried versions of their chosen flavor.
Takoyaki Tanota
The second savory offering on the pass was a trial version of hand-crafted takoyaki in the original flavor. Guests who redeemed their Sampler offering then got to see that Takoyaki Tanota boasted multiple flavor combinations, tempting them to go for a full-size order.
HGG Tanghulu
After satisfying their dinnertime cravings, guests with an inkling for a sweet treat made their way to HGG Tanghulu for a special combination skewer of a strawberry and two blueberries. The combo gave tasters a well-rounded dessert experience with tart and sweet factors, with both juicy and crunchy textures.
Ube Bread Box
Rounding out the Sampler is a Filipino-founded and operated business, and guests were able to pick from a selection of ube flavored desserts - butter mochi, macarons, or an ice pop. In the lingering Las Vegas heat, the ice pop was a crowd favorite. Fans of not-too-sweet and flavorful desserts can’t go wrong with any of the menu items from Ube Bread Box, and were delighted by the BOGO deals at the booth all weekend long.
Thank you to everyone who bought a 626Sampler this season, and to all the vendors that participated in any of the eight iterations of the program this year.
