Not so Peace & Quiet: Silent Disco goes big at the Rio, Las Vegas
626 Night Market’s final Silent Discos wrapped up the season at Las Vegas. Spread across four days, the Silent Discos brought a unique vibe for returning and new guests wanting to spend time around the market, with the iconic Las Vegas strip spread across the skyline. These discos featured a variety of genres spun by DJs based locally, as well as from Southern California.
The second day of the first weekend was a takeover by DJ collective Colorflow, a multi-genre DJ & producer collective based out of Las Vegas. Their three selected DJs spun genre-bending sets, curating sonic art in every beat. Depending on the channel they listened to, guests could headbang, shimmy, and perform K-Pop dances with their friends.
Day three of Silent Disco featured two SoCal-based DJs to show Vegas how they get the party going. The K-Pop channel shocked listeners with complex remixes of recent comebacks, and the R&B channel comforted listeners of all ages with laid-back, LA style throwbacks. The EDM kept guests hyped and partying throughout the night, with adults and children alike jumping together as staff handed them their headsets.
On the fourth and final day of Silent Disco, DJs made sure to end the season with the best sets of the weekend. After hearing about and seeing the other Silent Discos on the 626 Night Market instagram, guests lined up to enjoy the experience before the season ended. Many 626 Night Market staff also hopped in the experience area, capping off the project with a bittersweet dance party. As the final DJ sets came to a close, the crowd cheered to celebrate the conclusion of the 626 Night Market season.

romar! brings electrifying energy to his high-octane EDM sets, featuring his own remixes and original tracks that keep the crowd jumping and engaged from start to finish. Combining house, trap, jersey club, and future bass, he creates an immersive experience that captures the essence of rave culture. Debuting as a DJ at HyperX Arena and as a member of the Colorflow collective, romar! has performed at events like Lovesick at The Hard Rock Live and the Kawaii Rave at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas, with more music on the way.
RHOME *
RHOME, a Las Vegas-based DJ, has quickly risen in the scene with his unique fusion of K-pop and EDM. Self-taught and DJing for just two years, he's already played iconic venues like Academy LA and AVALON Hollywood, while regularly performing at Insomniac's Electrik Seoul and holding a residency for Las Vegas’ K-pop party, LOVESICK.
KOJO *
KOJO brings the heat, known for their mass diversity in genres and seamless mixing. With high energy in mind, everyone can expect a musical experience full of non-stop fun, inspired by sounds of video games, anime, and internet culture.
YHN *
Rising artist, YHN (Yo-hon), is an EDM DJ based in Las Vegas. Versatile in many sub-genres of EDM, he brings the energy to any crowd and never fails to get everyone jumping.
Mar
mar is an open-format DJ based in Southern California who enjoys curating genre-blending sets combining hip-hop, R&B, house, EDM, and more. As a full-time music marketer during the day, mar's pulse on the latest in music culture and her love for diverse genres has allowed her to move the crowd wherever she plays.

RATED E is a rising DJ and Event curator based in Los Angeles. Within a year, he has already sold out shows from Academy LA to KBPM. RATED E is known for his electrifying and energetic open format DJ performances bridging music genres from EMO to KPOP. RATED E's model's after the slogan "rated e for everyone" which ties to the legacy he wants to leave, a positive impact in everyone's life.
With the close of the 2024 season, the Special Projects team would like to thank all the DJs and guests who participated in this fun-filled experience. Silent Disco will be coming to 626 Night Market next season, and will be just as exciting and musical as this year!
