626 Sampler: Noodle Edition
The 626Sampler debuted its second themed edition at the final Orange County weekend of 626 Night Market! Attendees enjoyed noodle offerings from Tokyo Yakisoba and Teagu Cafe, as well as a refreshing tea from Eastern Tales for only $14.99.
The program was once again coordinated by Special Projects Staff, Bernadette Velasco.
Tokyo Yakisoba
Saucy, beefy, and chewy, Tokyo Yakisoba’s fried wheat noodles were a delicious rendition of a common Japanese street food. Paired with bright red pickled ginger, ground beef, finely chopped cabbage, carrots, and scallions, the dish was a perfectly salty-savory experience.
Teagu Cafe
Teagu Cafe’s specialty is hand-pulled noodles, freshly prepared and cooked for you upon ordering. This unique preparation creates a bouncy, thick noodle with the perfect chili-crisp to top it. Paired with juicy pieces of marinated pork, the Spicy Biang Biang noodles were a perfect bite of the booth’s hallmark dish.
Eastern Tales
With three flavors to choose from, Eastern Tales provided 16oz Thai teas for all palates. The Bangkok Thai tea is their most popular sweet-and-creamy drink, but the Phuket Thai tea was great for those craving a deeper, more robust tea taste. The Bangkok Breeze’s lychee-lime jasmine flavors appealed to fruit tea lovers, or anyone craving a refreshing quench amidst the Southern California heat wave.
If this sampler line-up has you craving more, be on the look-out for this year’s last run of the 626Sampler in Las Vegas! Keep an eye on our Instagram for the announcements.
